Description
Nathaniel Harris's illustrated survey of Salvador Dalí, published by Parragon in 1994. A square hardcover, about 79 pages, with plates from the Bridgeman Art Library.
The text follows the life alongside the work. Each painting gets a full-colour plate, some running across a spread, with its title, date and medium and a short passage of commentary.
Works reproduced include The Lugubrious Game, Soft Construction with Boiled Beans, The Great Paranoiac and Sleep.
The back cover is black, with a short note on Dalí as both painter and showman.
Slightly used, 9/10.
